    오늘은 커피 한 잔 이야기로 문을 열어볼까 합니다 . Today, I’d like to open our conversation with a story about a simple cup of coffee.   요즘 한국 사람들 , 정말 커피를 많이 마신다고 하지요 . 출근길엔 테이크아웃 잔을 손에 들고 , 점심 뒤엔 자연스레 카페로 발걸음을 옮깁니다 . 어떤 분은 하루에 열 잔도 넘게 마신다니 , 커피가 그야말로 우리의 하루를 움직이는 연료 가 된 셈입니다 .   It’s no secret that people in Korea today are deeply in love with coffee. You see it everywhere: people clutching takeout cups on their morning commute, and a natural migration toward cafes immediately after lunch. I’ve even heard of some who drink more than ten cups a day! It seems coffee has truly become the fuel that powers our daily lives.   생각해 보면 , 커피 한 잔에 얽힌 사연이 없는 사람은 거의 없을 거예요 . 처음 사랑을 고백하던 떨림의 순간 , 이별 뒤 혼자 마시던 쓴 한 모금 , 혹은 머리가 지끈거릴 만큼 복잡한 날의 위로 같은 것들 . 커피는 늘 그 곁에서 조용히 마음을 덮어주는 친구 였습니다 .
